Reporting to the Sales Director, you would be responsible for the development and generation of new and add-on sales of our business software solutions including our leading, flagship ERP solution - VISUAL Manufacturing.

Your general responsibilities would be to find, assess, qualify and close new business in the assigned territory. Calling on prospective customers, you would provide technical and administrative product information & arrange demonstrations, and generate proposals & quotations.

You would develop new accounts as well as expanding existing accounts and manage & leverage Technical Consultant relationships with customers by performing needs analysis and integrating the system capabilities into the client's business planning and budgeting processes.

Ideally you will demonstrate how to contribute value to the client's business in a measurable way by illustrating the potential return on investment with the ability to articulate a clear value proposition.

You should possess outstanding inter-personal skills, be an outward going and result-oriented person and preferably possess prior technical sales or marketing experience in a relevant sector, or alternatively be an advanced user of ERP / CRM Systems, Accounting Solutions or other professional Business Applications.

Proficiency in the use of MS Windows applications, an understanding of relational databases and client-server technology is an added advantage. It is also an asset if you are experienced in manufacturing and / or financial methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Developing/managing a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet agreed targets
  • Contacting/visiting existing customers on a regular basis
  • Developing the vendor relationship their ERP products
  • Representing the company events (e.g. partner conference)
  • Identifying suitable target vertical market(s)
  • Co-ordinating marketing activities
  • Updating the in-house CRM system
  • Producing monthly sales reports
